Rangers let one slip by last night as the Devils won it in overtime. Not at all concerned though as I've been saying all along, Rangers win in 5. As with the 1 victory the devils managed to pull out this season against us, it didn't happen in regulation time and the Rangers will bounce back quickly

As for the Mets well, it was not a good weekend at all. No win from Johan on Saturday and while Oliver Perez pitched like garbage yesterday, the Mets failed to capatilize. Repeatedly leaving men on base in scoring position was the theme of the day. More and more as I watch this team I keep asking myself, "When will the 2008 Mets show up?". All we have seen so far is the September 2007 version of the Mets. Playing with no life and making the simple goof play. Angel Pagan continues to rake but with the losses piling up it isn't going to matter unless this team can turn things around. We've got the Nationals for 3 coming up this week so that would seem to be a good place to start. Paul LoDuca continues to have diarrhea of the mouth so it could make for an interesting series but this is definately one that the Mets should take.

Angel Pagan continued his tear by picking up another 2 hits along with his tenth rbi.

Jose Reyes, after going 0-3 to keep his average just a touch over the .200 mark, pulls up lame with tightness in his hamstring and at best wont play in Saturdays game with Johan on the mound. I can only hope that this is a minor thing and that he can start to get things turned around. If we are going to succeed this season we will need a healthy and productive Reyes.
